K20Video: A new and improved scheduling system
Friday, September 17th, 2010 The California K-12 High Speed Network has developed a new and improved system for our videoconferencing users. A driving factor for this is the expansion of services to our counterparts in California’s Higher Education community which includes the University of California, California State University, and Community College Systems. K12Video is morphing into K20Video, and we have a new feature rich scheduling system which is accessible at http://www.k20video.org. The new system includes an updated scheduling interface with new features such as: · Scheduling Reoccurring Conferences · Include Audio Only Participants · Include ISDN Participants · Customized Messages to Participants · …much more At this time we will be running both systems in parallel. If you had previously scheduled conferences on K12video.org, those conferences will remain there and will not be migrated to the K20Video site at this time. You will need to schedule all new conferences at the K20Video.org site, you will not be able to schedule new conferences on K12Video.org. You do not need to create a new account on the K20Video.org system, your existing K12Video.org account was migrated over. The new site is in the initial rollout and we will be making minor tweaks and adjustments to the site as we receive feedback. If you happen to experience any problems with the site, you will see a “Comments, questions or feedback?” link at the bottom of every page within K20Video.org where you can directly send us information. We thank you for using the K12Video services and hope you find the K20Video services more reliable and more robust than you have experienced before. As always if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you, Alan =================== Alan Phillips K-12 High Speed Network P: 760.312.6512 V: 205.154.68.70 =================== > More news |
