CalREN Update: Network Projects & Activities

The state's K-12 System received several new connections, including a 10 Gigabit connection to the CalREN backbone node site in Riverside for the Riverside County Office of Education. Another 10 Gigabit alternate connection for Garden Grove Unified School District was tested successfully and is ready to be put into production use. Lastly, a new DS-3 connection for Bishop Unified School District was completed to the CalREN backbone node site in Los Angeles, providing the district with extra needed bandwidth.
