Important Reminder for Internal Connections “P2” Projects that are NOT completed:

September 30, 2011 is the Last Day for Implementation of projects with one-time charges from Y13 (2010/2011) and earlier.

If you are not finished with your projects, and you expect additional work to take place beyond September 30, the last day to request an extension of time is TODAY!

If you do request an extension, be prepared to provide additional documentation to USAC upon request, including a project plan and a detailed explanation as to why an extension is needed.

Additionally, don’t forget to extend your associated contract(s) to align with the extended date (usually an additional year) and file the Form 500 with USAC to update that information in their database.

If you do not file an Implementation Deadline Extension request by today and you need one, it is unlikely to be approved after the fact.
