Groups added to edZone
Friday, April 11th, 2008

At the launch of edZone, we announced the ability to create groups and share content to those select individuals was a coming feature. We are happy to announce that Groups have now been implemented and are available.

EdZone Groups

To create a group, go to “My edZone” and add your edZone Group. Type your group name and an enrollment key. The enrollment key is the password you will share with your group members to give them access to your content. edZone lets you send an invitation e-mail containing detailed instructions on how to join your group. You decide who should have access to your content. The Group name, together with the enrollment key, will provide your chosen collaborators, students, etc., with access to review your content. While the non-K12HSN account holders you invited into the group are only able to review content, the K12HSN account holders in your group will be able to review and add new content in that group.

Groups can be accessed from "My edZone", by clicking on the Group icon. Clicking on your group name will give you access to the content available to your group in Blogs, Videos, Podcasts, Images and Documents.

Note: You may choose to make some of the content in your group also available to the public.

edZone was built from the ground up, which gives us a lot of flexibility. If you have any suggestions for the site, please let us know.
