Grant High School students will talk with Matsuyama Commercial High School students from their school library. The two schools have used video conferences to communicate with each other several times a year since 2005.

Highlands High School students will talk with Matsuyama Seiryo High School students from the school's staff conference room. Foothill High School students will talk with Matsuyama Technical High School students from their school library.

Grant teacher Wayne Hironaka said in a news release that the event will be covered by local television stations in Matsuyama, Japan.
