Sending messages

Log into your Calaxy account.
Once you are logged in, you will notice a gray box in the upper right-hand corner.
Click on “Messages” to access the Messaging screen.

On this Messaging screen, you can send new messages, check your Inbox, view Sent messages, as well as your Archives.
The messaging system does not reveal a colleague’s actual email address, but sends the message via the internal Calaxy system. An automated email notification will be delivered to your colleagues email address informing them that they have a new message in Calaxy.
To send a new message, click on the "New" tab.

To find a Calaxy user, begin typing the name of the person you would like to contact.
Once the name of the person you are looking for appears in the drop down list, click "Add" to actually select the person.
You may select additional recipients by following the same steps.
Enter the subject and the actual message, then click "Send"
