Have you signed up for your free DVDs from “Stossel in the Classroom“? You’ve probably heard of John Stossel, a co-anchor of ABC’s 20/20 news program, and his trademark “Give me a break!” but you might not know that this website offers teachers free DVDs, lessons and guides from 20/20 segments. The newest DVD, “Hype and Consquences,” offers videos and discussion topics on ethanol fuel, food donations, and media scares. There are even streaming videos available with ideas for discussion.
