Bring back Shrinky Dinks™!

I just received my April newsletter from the Ruben H. Fleet Science Center in San Diego. Since I don't live in San Diego, I usually just scroll through it pretty quick, but the words "experiment" and "shrinking plastic" grabbed my eyes and attention!

It seems that they have a (small) collection of science experiment videos over at YouTube. Though I wish the video was zoomed in closer, and with some actual close-ups of what they are doing, the video and commentary is good quality. (For this blog entry, I searched for a Shrinky Dink example...and found that there are some free traceable patterns at their site. Neat!)

Looking around the Education section of the RHFleet site, I found some teacher workshops opportunities for those who live around the area.
