Lead Instructors for Digital Media Adventures (for kids 9-13) @ The Claremont Colleges (Los Angeles area) and UC San Diego, This Summer!

The Digital Media Academy (DMA) offers summer computer camps for teens (DMA for Teens 13-18) and kids (Digital Media Adventures for kids (9-13). Founded in 2001 by a group from Stanford University, DMA is best known for its premier summer programs hosted at prestigious destination campuses. DMA is accredited by Stanford University Continuing Studies and is held to the highest standard of excellence.

We’re looking for energetic, dynamic and talented individuals to join our team this summer. Digital Media Adventures Lead Instructors should be experienced educators confident in leading small groups of students (9-13). DMA’s instructional positions provide an opportunity to engage students from across the country in a dynamic and fun learning environment. We are looking for instructors to teach the following topics:

• Video Game Creation
• Web Design
• Lego Robotics

If you have proficiency in one or more of these areas and have a passion for working with kids, we want to hear from you!

Dates: for DMA’s summer program @ UC San Diego are July 7 – August 1, 4-week -long sessions with new sessions starting each Monday. Assignments can be from 1 to 4 weeks long. Dates for the program at The Claremont Colleges are July 21 – August 15, 4 –week long session. Assignments can be from 1 to 4 weeks long.

Hours: 8:30am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per week of instruction based on qualifications and experience. Housing may also be available for instructors from out of the area.
