NOTE: A considerable number of students have asked for the due date of Flowers for Algernon to be extended to Friday. Here is my dilemma. If I say yes, those students who have finished will not be happy they did not have an extra two days. If I say no, a great number of students will not have the work finished. Perhaps what I will do is give extra credit to the students who have it finished on time.

September 2

NOTE: for Flowers for Algernon
     * the new due date is September 7
     * do citations on all 100 of Charlies entries
     * do SCE columns on 70% of the citations
     * each entry should not take more than 2 to 3 minutes
     * don't wait until after finishing the book to do the citation entries; you should be recording citations as you read and doing the other columns while the reading is still fresh in your memory
