If someone had told me that I would be attending a tech conference, much less creating a blog two days into my much anticipated summer vacation, I would have responded, "Huh..." in a very apathetic way. Well, I put on my game face, woke up early, traveled from Fresno to Clovis, searched for a Starbucks, and got ready for the tech conference. I scanned the agenda for the next THREE days and checked off the seminars I wanted to attend. I have always wanted to delve into the work of "blogging," made very chic by celebrities, political pundits, and newspaper writers. I was excited to learning the ins and outs of blogging and became even more excited, "stoked" if you will, when the cogs in my head (which I had planned would shut down for two months) started to turn and I was thinking of all the projects my students could do. Blogging about the American Revolution, commenting on the upcoming test, maintaining contact during CST time, possibly assigning a book to read (ha). The possibilities are endless. Now, if only we had enough computers to make sure that students could respond.
