We have designed edZone to be very graphical. This post will give you a legend of what icons you will see in edZone and tell you a little about what they mean. Isn't that iconic.

Application Icons

 edZone Blogs  Blogs: Personal online journal where you frequently share ideas and receive input from peers
 edZone Videos  Videos: Upload and manage your videos online and browse instructional videos
 edZone Podcasts  Podcasts: Upload and manage your podcasts online and discover your peers' podcasts
 edZone Images  Images: Upload and manage your photos and digital images online and find additional images
 edZone Documents  Documents: Browse, upload and manage documents online
 edZone Assets  Assets: Easy, web-based tool for managing and tracking your inventory
 edZone Wikis Wikis: Collaborative workspace on a topic where any user can edit the site content, including other users' contributions
 edZone Messaging Social Networking: Build relationships and collaborate with those who share common interests and expertise
 edZone Messaging  Messaging: Real-time communication for easy collaboration
 edZone Moodle  Moodle: Online course management system
 My Tech Desk  My TechDesk: Easy, web-based workorder management
 K12video  K12video: Videoconference scheduling system for California schools

System Icons
 edZone ID ID: This first time you login to edZone you are required to create an ID. This is your unique identification within edZone.
 edZone Profile Profile: The Profile page is the area where you store your information: name, job title, bio, etc...
 edZone Categories  Categories: edZone allows you to create your own categories, making it easy to organize your content.
 edZone Groups  Groups: You may decide to share content with select individuals. The Group feature allows you to restrict access to your content.
 edZone Albums  Albums: You may choose to organize your content into albums, each album covering a specific topic.

Useability Icons
 Comments  Comments: edZone helps you connect with and hear from other educators who read, watch or listen to your work and post comments. 
 Rate  Rating: Each piece of content that is uploaded to these applications can be rated by members of the K-12 trusted community.
  Delete  Delete: Where available, this icon allows you to remove an item from edZone.
 Edit icon  Edit: Where available, this icon allows you to edit an item you have created.
 Email Icon  E-mail: edZone allows you to send invitation e-mails containing detailed instructions on how to join a group you have created.
 RSS Feed RSS Feed: The orange RSS feed icon is displayed across edZone's applications. By subscribing to these RSS feeds, content will be delivered to you as it becomes available, helping you to keep up with information in an automated manner.
 Flag K12HSN users have the ability to flag content as inappropriate. Quarantined content is immediately removed from public view. K12HSN staff reviews it and determines if it really should be removed from public view.
