All you need to know about edZone...


iPod, You Pod, We all Pod for Podcasts

If you already have a podcast on your computer, you can upload it to edZone as follows:


1- Log into your K12HSN account


2- Go to “My edZone”

My Podcasts

3- Under “My Podcasts” click “Add podcast”


4- Fill out the Podcast Upload form

Asterisk (*) indicates required field

Podcast Upload
Title: Enter a title for your podcast.


Description
: Enter a description.


Tags: Type the tags or keywords that best describe your podcast.

Keywords/tags should be separated by spaces.

When you publish your podcast, these tags will be listed with it. Clicking any of the tags will take you to a page containing only podcasts with that tag.


Channels
: Select the channel(s) that correspond to your podcast.

Channels are system-defined, they are pre-defined.
They include both content areas (Administration, Adult Education, Mathematics, etc) and grade levels (Elementary School, Middle School, High School)


Album: A podcast may be part of an Album.
If yours is, select the album it belongs to.

Categories: Select the categories that correspond to your podcast.

Categories are user-defined.

Podcast File
: Click “Browse” to find the podcast on your computer.
Podcasts have to be in
M4A, M4V, MP4, MP3, or MP4 file formats.

A pop up window opens, select the file you would like to upload. Then click “Open”


Note:
iTunes U

Privacy
: In the Privacy section, you will decide whether the podcast is available to:
 - yourself only,
 - an edZone group,
 - the K12HSN trusted community or 
 - the public.

Terms of Service:
Under Terms of Service, make sure you check the box next to “I agree to comply with the K12HSN Terms of Service (TOS)”

5- Hit “Submit”

I have the same problem and the person above. I uploaded an enhanced podcast. I can hear the audio but I cannot see the picture.
