Assignment Reflection

 

Personal Learning Space Design

 

            I chose to use the Calaxy Website because it was created by the state of California for teachers to collaborate.  I thought it would be good to learn how to use the site and contribute to its collection.  It is a little more complex than I would like.  Before each post is uploaded you have to agree to terms.  It is a way to reinforce Digital Citizenship. 

            I would like to personalize it more but I have not had the opportunity yet. 

 

Lesson Plan Deconstruction

            The lesson plan deconstruction was a very helpful lesson.  Breaking the lesson down made it possible to see the elements necessary when creating a GLP that would be detailed and productive.  I will use the models to analyze my GLP before sharing it with others.

           

BWD Lesson Plan Stages and Final

            I found the BWD to be informative.  I had difficulties breaking down the differences between the stages, but considering if the activity would be formally assessed helped to determine the difference.  I think the number of activities differs greatly based on the learning goals.

 

Storyboard

            I enjoyed creating the storyboard ppt.  I was not sure how many pages were appropriate and tried to keep the words limited.  Using examples for each of the characters seemed to add excessive text, but I couldn’t seem to find images that were good examples for character traits.
