Mars: The Search for Water, the Search for Life Added on 6/19/2008 by UA Phoenix Mars Mission
This 10-minute clip, titled "Mars: The Search for Water, the Search for Life," looks at some of these images and compares them to similar features found on the Earth and addresses possible consequences of finding liquid water on Mars. This video is brought to you by Phoenix Mars Mission and the University of Arizona, which is the first university to lead a mission to Mars. Launched in August 2007, the Phoenix Mars Mission is the first in NASA's Scout Program. Phoenix is designed to study the history of water and habitability potential in the Martian arctic's ice-rich soil. The Phoenix Mars Mission is providing educational content related to the mission, including lesson plans, activities, and multimedia aimed at grades 3 through 12.
