 Technology Refresh Plan

The K12HSN is working with CENIC and K-12 Node Sites to prepare for the replacement of aging equipment and circuit upgrades to meet the growing demand on the Network.

After reviewing the 2007 Technology Refresh Plan (TRP), the Legislative Analysts’ Office reported that “…the plan is realistically scheduled, reasonably priced, and needed to maintain reliable service.” (Page E-68, LAO’s 2007-08 Governor’s Budget Analysis)

In addition to funding for the TRP, the LAO’s position in support of full base funding for the K12HSN program offers the sense of stability that we have been working toward.

The program wishes to thank all of the advocates that
have played a role in reaching this point.
