Statewide CDE/K12HSN E-rate and CTF Trainings

Various E-rate training options are provided below. These trainings are offered by the California Department of Education (CDE), in conjunction with the California K-12 High Speed Network (K12HSN). All training options will be available in person and via Videoconference or live webcast from your computer.

E-rate and CTF Training for Beginners
The first training option will be offered in September and October 2009. This session covers the basics of E-rate and is meant for beginners to attend. This session covers a walk-through of the program, beginners do’s and don’ts, and the steps from Form 470 to Form 471, for a basic telecommunication application.

E-rate and CTF Training for Intermediate/Advanced Applicants
The second training option will be for intermediate and advanced applicants.  This session covers program changes and updates, tech plan elements for e-rate, various forms such as Form 470, 471, items to prepare for audits, elements of the CTF (California Teleconnect Fund) discount program, and more...

Training materials will be available approximately 3 to 5 days prior to the first training.
