Statewide CDE/K12HSN E-rate and CTF Trainings

Various E-rate training options are provided below. These trainings are offered by the California Department of Education (CDE), in conjunction with the K-12 High Speed Network (K12HSN). All training options will be available in person and via Videoconference or live webcast from your computer.

The first training option covers the basics of E-rate and is meant for beginners to attend. It will cover a walk-through of the program, beginners do’s and don’ts, and will cover the steps from Form 470 to Form 471, for a basic telecommunication application.

The second training option will be for intermediate and advanced applicants.  It will cover program changes and updates, tech plan elements for e-rate, various forms such as Form 470, 471, items to prepare for audits, and elements of the CTF (California Teleconnect Fund) discount program.

The final training option is available for all of the above sessions via live webcast for those that are unable to physically attend the training locations. You will be able to view this from your computer.

We encourage you to click on the links below to sign up for a session.

NOTE: Training materials will be available approximately 1 week prior to the first training.

Please check back on the web site periodically in case new training sites are added. If you have questions related to registration, content, preparation, or what to bring with you to the training, please contact Judy Bellamy at Butte County Office of Education, (530) 532-5678 or jbellamy@bcoe.org.
