Advancing Network Uses
Request for Proposals

The K-12 High Speed Network (K12HSN) seeks to make available new, high-quality resources that can be distributed across the Network for use by teachers, schools and districts throughout California.

Using one-time stabilization funds (SFSF), the K12HSN will fund work by districts, county offices of education, direct funded Charter schools, or by vendors partnering with such local education agencies (LEAs). Projects are expected to involve the development, enhancement, or redesign (for scaling purposes) of content – either instructional support or professional development applications.

Entities that have developed products to meet their own local needs and are interested in sharing those resources with other educators in the state are encouraged to apply.  Grant funds may be used to assist with any redesign or retooling needed in order to provide the resources to a statewide audience.
