Most county offices of education and many districts develop their own technological, web-based resources in order to meet local needs. These may be in specific content areas (e.g. Language Arts, Math), or relate to the special needs of specific target groups (e.g. English Learners, CAHSEE preparation, hearing-impaired instruction).
To provide access across the state to these locally-produced resources, the K-12 High Speed Network (K12HSN) is launching a Directory of Network Applications (DNA). The DNA is a sampling of network applications delivered via the K12HSN. It helps educational practitioners of all types locate electronic materials developed by California educational entities.
