E-rate Productivity Center
The Universal Services Administrative Company (USAC) and the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) have developed the online E-rate Productivity Center’s (EPC) portal to facilitate the E-rate application process beginning with the 2016–17 cycle. In order to participate in the E-rate program, all applicants must apply using the EPC portal. The SLD has produced video tutorials as an aid to establish your portal. To view these videos visit the SLD’s EPC Web page at:
The EPC portal provides more functionality to the end-user. One of the new functionalities is the ability to input a District’s County District School (CDS) number into the profile. Linking the CDS to the E-rate identification will assist with evaluation and analysis purposes at all levels. It is recommended that the entire CDS number be inserted into the State LEA Code field (see instructions below) with no spaces or dashes in the number. To access this field follow the steps outlined below:
· From the “Landing Page” click on the district entity
· The next screen provides details on the District, such as address, phone number, etc. In the upper right corner of the screen click on the ellipsis with the drop down menu. Select Manage Organization
· Scroll to the bottom of the screen where you will find the field entitled “State LEA Code”
· Enter the CDS code according to the following format: ##############

Schools and Districts that have already received a circuit funded by BIIG, or expect to receive a circuit by December 31, 2015, will be entering the next phase of the grant process referred to as the Supersedure process.
