Broadband Infrastructure Improvement Grant 2.0 (BIIG) Deadline Nearing

In an effort to further support educational technology, the state budget has allocated an additional $50 million (AB 93) to help schools with inadequate bandwidth upgrade their current connection to the Internet.  This opportunity will be handled through a grant application process and will be distributed by the K-12 High Speed Network (K12HSN) in consultation with the California Department of Education (CDE) and State Board of Education (SBE).

The 2015–16 Broadband Infrastructure Improvement Grant (BIIG) application window will close on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.

To participate in the BIIG 2.0 application or to learn more about this opportunity, visit the K12HSN’s BIIG 2.0 Web page at http://www.k12hsn.org/grants/biig2/.
