Recently, the EducationSuperHighway (ESH) released a new tool called Compare & Connect K-12 that provides E-rate data transparency with the intent of helping school districts get more bandwidth for their network budgets. Developed by the non-profit, the tool allows county office and school district leaders to easily view and compare bandwidth and broadband pricing information (based on 2015-16 E-rate data) for their own and other school districts across the state and country.
The Compare & Connect K-12 tool (see http://www.compareandconnectk12.org/) is still in beta, but is publicly available. The information reflected in the tool was obtained from the E-rate data on the Universal Services Administration Company (USAC). We encourage you to take a look at the information in the tool and reach out to ESH if you think the information is erroneous. It is important to note that any revisions ESH makes to the data in the Compare and Connect K-12 tool do not get reported back to USAC.
